70+dogs cared for every Sunday
Hi, I'm Lucy

A genuine animal lover you can trust with your keys

Alongside my Sport Nutrition degree, I've spent years working with dogs. Every Sunday I help care for and socialise around 70 dogs with an established local dog business, so I've met every size, breed and personality you can think of.

I've cared for newborn puppies, senior dogs, anxious rescues, shy cats and even guinea pigs. I can give oral and injected medication, and I'll always adapt to what your pet needs, whether that's cooling them down in a heatwave or a slow, gentle walk for old legs.

In loving memory

Barnaby 2013 – 2026

Barnaby was my golden retriever, my best friend and the gentlest giant you could ever meet. He was a cheeky boy in his younger days, but he aged like fine wine into a dog who loved everyone and everything, especially his pink pig toy and a pup cup.

A year before his 13th birthday we very nearly lost him. The vets thought it might be time, but we weren't ready to give up. We slept downstairs beside him and hand-fed him, and slowly he fought his way back to eating, to long walks, and to celebrating his birthday in a party hat with a box of pupcakes.

Those extra months taught me so much about caring for an older dog: patience, gentle routines and noticing the little things. Barnaby welcomed so many of the dogs I looked after, and every pet I care for now gets a little of the love he taught me.

Thank you for the best 13 years, Barnaby 💛

Couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter! Our usually shy kitties took a real shine to Lucy. Lucy sent us regular photos and videos and we felt very confident that the cats were happy and well looked after!

Lucy was so lovely and did a fabulous job looking after our old man, Walter! She kept us updated with how Walter was doing whilst we were away. She was also very respectful of our home. We would 100% recommend her. I only hope she doesn't become too popular, so she will have time to look after Walter again in the future 😊

If you are looking for a dog/house sitter I couldnt recommend Lucy any more! She went above and beyond for my dog Bonnie and formed such a lovely bond with her! Lucy looked after Bonnie during a heatwave and took every step to keep her cool and happy. We had so many photos and videos throughout which was so just so nice and comforting during our holiday. It's made going away so much easier knowing we have found someone as amazing as Lucy to look after our fur baby!

We're so happy that we found Lucy! She was able to help at short notice with walking our Golden Retriever and we now would not use anyone else. She came to meet us before the first walk, asked for info about our dog and followed our routines etc. She turned up exactly when she said she would and sent us pics and videos of our dog having a lovely time. He loved his walks so much that he was looking for her after she had left! Highly recommend Lucy!

Lucy was absolutely amazing looking after my Jack Russell. From the moment we met her, she was friendly, caring, and clearly loves dogs. She took my dog out on lots of walks and adventures, and I loved receiving loads of photos and updates throughout the stay, which really put my mind at ease. My Jack Russell had a fantastic time and was so happy and well cared for. Lucy is such a lovely person and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I wouldn't hesitate to book with her again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you Lucy! X
